History & Development of MyBB is as follows.....

MyBB 1.0 and 1.1

This was founded as DevBB in 2002 by Chelsea Boulton from a derive of XMB, the first public launch (RC1) of MyBB was already released on 10 Dec 2003. It wasn't until 2 years later, on 9 Dec 2005, that MyBB 1.0 was released. On 9 April 2006, edition 1.1 was released. The last edition of this sequence was 1.1.8, a protection upgrade released on 20 Aug 2006.

MyBB 1.2

Through continuous efforts On 2 Sept 2006, with a improved and rewritten code base and over 40 new functions, MyBB 1.2 was released. Support for the 1.2 sequence formally ended on 1 May 2009, although protection up-dates were available until 31 Dec 2009.
The final edition of the 1.2 sequence, 1.2.14, was a protection and maintenance upgrade released on 17 September 2008. Several protection areas were available in major protection up-dates for users still using the 1.2 sequence.

MyBB 1.4

After a long try out stage MyBB 1.4 was released on 2 Aug 2008 complete with over 70 new functions, along with a completely improved and remodeled Administration Control Section (ACP).

On 12 Oct 2008, MyBB 1.4.2 was released. This edition changed MyBB's certificate from exclusive to GNU GPL v3. The change in certificate was motivated from a ask for from KDE who, in a related statement, released their first web-based community using MyBB as an alternative to mailinglist

MyBB 2.0

This might be next significant launch of MyBB will be 2.0, focused for a launch within MyBB's common launch pattern. Currently in planning/early growth, it is being rewritten from the begining in a MVC technique.
On 7 September 2011, MyBB declared some 2.0 venture details. The application is being published using the Yii structure and will be such as conversation-style individual texting (PM) techniques, a refined Individual CP and Control Lines.

One of the main features of MyBB is it supports multiple database engines. It currently supports MySQL, PgSQL, and SQLite v2 and v3.[6] MyBB also database failover support so that if one database fails, MyBB will load the next database on the list. Master and slave databases are also configurable.

In the case security MyBB has a relatively low-risk record. In August 2008, MyBB performed a security audit (provided by GulfTech) which led to the release of MyBB 1.4.2 on 17 September 2008.
Once MyBB has been given a high-risk security exploit notification, a patch is typically available within 24 hours.

I don't run right now (again 8 months pregnant just like ya'll), but I started during my first and second trimesters. I am going to be (trying) to walk at least 2 miles per day for the next few weeks and start exercising again asap after baby is born. Does anyone else want to share their goals?.
Hell, no! The last thing in the world I want is to go to a dentist's office where some hottie scrapes crap off my teeth and wipes it onto a little cloth before diving back into my mouth with her little scum scraping thingie. Okay, make it the second-to-last thing in the world. The last thing in the world I want is to go to the doctor to get my hemorrhoids lanced by a doctor with a hot medical assistant.
Equipment donations are up too: In 1985 computer manufacturers contributed $74 million worth of products. companies still appear ill at ease on campus. At MIT, for example, where corporate-sponsored research totaled $38 million last year, professors complain that Japanese companies often are better at developing relationships with researchers than American companies are.

Eliminating the trademark will not protected your website from online hackers.Any good cyberpunk will know the community application you are using just by looking at your website.
